Being part of the movement of grace in the world

christmas in rome

Dear friends and colleagues of the Anglican Centre in Rome,

Warm Christmas blessings to you.

We celebrate the coming of God in a stable, amongst the shepherds and animals with a wonder and an amazement that never grows old, and is ever new. Christmas never loses its grace and beauty, its charm and its power. How radical, how unexpected, how extraordinary it is to believe that God came through for us, amongst us, in one of us, to help us find our way home! Love came through at Christmas, Alleluia!

The Anglican Centre in Rome exists as an act of faith, that like the gift of the Christ child, God is always incarnating, birthing and blessing amongst us and within us and between us. You are part of this story by your care and your support of the Centre. You are part of the fragile yet enduring potential of what oneness in Christ can be like for Roman Catholics and Anglicans and other Christian faiths.

God is always reconciling all things through the blood of the cross, all the time, and we are part of that movement of grace in the world. The Anglican Centre is a part of that great sacred movement. Thank you for being with us in this great cause, to witness to the coming through of Gods life and hope in the everyday world.

May you know the peace and joy of God incarnate within and between.
