Growing Together in Education

The Churches are committed to being involved in education at all levels, and close co-operation has developed in some schools, universities and theological training institutions.

Schools

Founded by the Church of England Diocese of Southwark and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, it works in formal and close partnership with local Free Churches (Methodist, Baptist, United Reformed and other Churches).

Theological Education
“Roots down, walls down, bridges out…” describes the ethos and vision of the Cambridge Theological Federation, which developed in the 1990s to bring together the teaching and learning of seven institutes through which people of different churches – including Anglican, Methodist, Orthodox, Reformed and Roman Catholic –train for various forms of Christian ministry and service.
