November 20 - 26, 2017
A week-long course offering an intensive experience of sharing past and present models of Christian women’s leadership in the Church.
Through visits to sites in Rome associated with key women leaders of the Church, then discussion of the relation between their lives and ours, we will work together in a creative re-thinking of present models of ordained women’s roles in the Church today. An integral part of the course will be the sharing of our own stories of ministry.
Each day the course will visit sites around Rome related to women who have led the church throughout its history.
There will also be daily sessions, facilitated by the Revd Dr Lucy Morris, which will be a mixture of interactive presentations, groupwork, discussion and reflection. Prior to the course commencing, Dr Morris will be asking for helpful information to be included in a brief biography from each participant and what you are hoping to gain from attending and participating in this course.
The provisional course outline is available here.

Course fee €525
Accommodation and meals in Rome are not included in the course fee, as we have found people prefer to make their own arrangements. We estimate that this would cost an additional Euro €450, although this depends on the standard of accommodation which you choose. There are a number of scholarships available for those from developing nations. Click here for information on what is and what is not covered in the course.
